I think it's huge to have a relationship with your voice actors. Not romantically but so they know you are involved in your animation project and that they are just as much apart of it as you are.

I know lots of projects I've voice acted for that just disappear or you have no idea when it comes out.

This can get disheartening to the Voice Actor.

I dunno, maybe I'm in the minority but everything from the script, storyboard, wip to the final project should be seen by them. But that could be just me.
